How It Works:

Points to Remember:

>> DSL Scholarship Program aims to support students pursuing Post-Secondary Education. And so, preference will be given to them. 

>> DSL Scholarship Program is mainly designed to support students and families facing financial hardships. Customers/families who are financially stable are requested, not to apply for this scholarship.  

>> The application is open not only to the customer, but also to their immediate family members or immediate relatives. Thus providing an opportunity for broader participation within families. That is, if customer is not a student, they can refer their family member or immediate relative on their order, to apply for our scholarship. 

>> Scholarships are offered 3 times an year:

>> Purchase must have been made within 3 months from the Date of Application.

>> Items in the order should not be returned, for the order to be an eligible purchase for this program. 

>> Reusing same order details to apply multiple times is not allowed. 

>> Only one application per candidate. Candidate can apply multiple times in different semesters (with different order details). 

>> By applying to this scholarship, you agree to the terms and conditions mentioned in this page (and in the emails we would send you). 

>> We have right to restrict the number of scholarships to be offered, which depends on various factors. 

Application Procedure:

1. Eligibility: Customers who make a purchase totaling $250 (before taxes) or more on our platform are eligible to participate in the scholarship draw. 

   Multiple candidates can apply on a single order detail, provided if the order total is more. That is, 2 candidates can apply on a single order if total is $500 (before taxes) and more, 3 candidates if the total is $750 (before taxes) and more etc.,...... 

2. Application Process:
   • After making a qualifying purchase, interested customers should send following details to us via email:
   • Order details,
   • Relationship between customer and student,
   • Details of the student, such as:
   1. Resume,
   2. Letter of Admission (for newly admitted), or Transcript(s) showing overall GPA. 
   3. Cover Letter explaining your:
   • Field of education,
   • Career prospects,
   • Future plans,
   • How you would like to give back to the community.
   4. Any Additional Details (if required, we will contact you). 
3. Shortlisting: Our team will go through all the received applications thoroughly, and will contact the shortlisted candidates personally for awarding the scholarship (within one month after the application deadline). 
4. Results: The results (i.e. names of the winners) will be announced on our website, one month after the application deadline.
